Murray Strain, looking remarkably fresh from his great run at Snowdon, raced to a comfortable win and new record in the rain at Turnhouse, whilst his weekend team-mate Fiona Maxwell was first woman (also in a new record time - by two seconds).

Runners from the West took the first two places in the junior race, Giffnock's Robbie Barr being chased home by Shettleston's Robert Patterson.
