Tinto Kit List Changes

Could all entrants please note that the kit list for this year's Run And Become Tinto Hill Race has been updated to the following:-

Waterproof jacket (with taped seams and attached hood), Waterproof Overtrousers, Hat, Gloves, Map and Compass (suitable for navigating the course) and a Whistle. This is the minimum kit requirement and must be carried during the race.

All entrants to date have been emailed today with these changes and anyone who has entered but cannot meet these more specific requirements will be refunded their entry fee if they wish. The race details on SiEntries and Carnethy web site have also been updated to reflect these changes.

Long Classics final results

Alasdair Anthony and Jasmin Paris won the 2014 Scottish Long Classics series. 22 runners completed the series, with Jon Gay and Diane Baum completing all 10 races.

Long Classics after 9 races

Stewart Whitlie and Alasdair Anthony are tied on equal points in the lead with one race remaining, the Pentland Skyline on Sunday 12th October. Diane Baum continues to lead the women's competition, having completed all 9 races so far, however could be pipped at the final race if Jasmin Paris decides to run.

After the Two Breweries there is only one race left in the 2014 championship, that is the short race of Meall nan Tarmachan on 11th October. Still lots of categories to be decided and lots of people who need to run the last race to earn one of the famous SHR mugs !

There are now less than 2 weeks to go to the SHR annual “do” and prize giving!! The event will be held in Killin after the Meall nan Tarmachan race. Please book as soon as possible so we can make final arrangements for catering etc!
