Malcolm is still an active hillrunner though long since past his sell by date.
He has been a mainstay of the Shettleston Harriers International Team (Sassenach section) since arriving on the boat from Yorkshire in 1992.

Ian, and his wife Anne, were inspired to take up hill running by watching the World Mountain Running Trophy in Edinburgh in 1995, both promptly joining Carnethy. Ian's "Avg %Winner" rating is 190% and rising, one of the highest in Scotland.
Ian became involved with SHR around 2000, when he succeeded Adrian Davis as Calendar editor. He has since been in charge of membership, insurance, results processing and finally took on the role of Secretary in November 2009.

Dave’s first taste of hill running was the inaugural Wansfell race in 1973, close to his home at the time, but it wasn’t until 2004 that he was able to take up the sport again actively. Now a member of Ochil Hill Runners, he relishes competing with other supervets and particularly enjoys the classic longs.
He was elected to the committee as Convenor in 2009.

Calendar

|
Chris has been active in the Scottish Hill Racing scene since 2000, when he was cajoled into his first hill race, Glen Rosa, which nearly killed him. Shortly afterwards Chris signed up for Westerlands, inspired by crazy Munro bagging exploits of club members.
Following election onto the SHR committee in 2005, Chris has been in charge of compiling the Scottish Hill Runners calendar since November 2006.

Dave has lived, worked and run in Scotland for many years and moved north to Inverness in 2003 where he is now firmly established. He has previously been both SHR treasurer and convenor.
